Designed with the do-it-yourself homeowner in mind, Tile Redi Bases are easy to install. Most bases install in less than an hour, saving you time and money! Once your Tile Redi Base is installed, it's ready to tile right away. All bases come with a built in PVC drain with round stainless steel cover and a 6" high splash wall. The floor of the base is pre-pitched 1/4" per foot, ensuring that no puddles or standing water will form. The Green Seel Roll-on Waterproofing Membrane included in this kit is a liquid latex waterproofing membrane that is ideal for waterproofing the walls alongside your Tile Redi shower base. With just two coats, your walls will be completely waterproof, preventing mold and mildew growth underneath the tiles you install. It's ready to use, no mixing required. Simply apply 2 coats of it with a 3/8 inch knap roller to each wall in your shower enclosure.
